Top contenders meet in Omaha
The 2024 College World Series is set to begin on June 15th, and the top teams in the country will be vying for the national championship. Here are our picks for every opening-round game at the College World Series and our selection for the 2024 champion.
The SEC and ACC will be well-represented in Omaha, with four teams from each conference making the field. The SEC is the favorite to win the title, with three of the top four teams in the country coming from the conference. The ACC is also a contender, with two of the top 10 teams in the country coming from the conference.
The other two teams in the field are Stanford and Notre Dame. Stanford is the defending national champion, and they are looking to become the first team to repeat as champions since South Carolina in 2010-11.
